Accredited Hospitality Training
We work with a range of providers who offer UK-based hospitality-specific training. These are facilitated by a mixture of in person deliver, remote meetings and then applied through on-the-job application. Hospitality Supervisor
Hospitality supervisors work across a wide variety of businesses. They provide vital support to management teams and are capable of independently supervising hospitality services and running shifts. They typically work under pressure delivering fantastic customer service and motivating a team is essential to their role. The majority of supervisors’ skills and knowledge are the same, but supervisors may specialise in specific functions or work across a variety of functions which reflects the multi-functional nature of the industry.

Hospitality Manager
Hospitality managers work across a huge variety of organisations. These managers generally specialise in a particular area, however, their core knowledge, skills and behaviours are aligned. Common to all managers in this role is their passion for exceeding customers’ expectations. Hospitality managers have a high level of responsibility and are accountable for fulfilling the business vision and objectives which requires excellent business, people and customer relation skills. Individuals in this role are highly motivated team leaders who combine a talent for management and specific industry skills and thrive on the customer-facing nature of the role.

Operations Departmental Manager
An operations/departmental manager is someone who manages teams and/or projects and achieves operational or departmental goals and objectives, as part of the delivery of the organisation’s strategy. They are accountable to a more senior manager or business owner. Working in the private, public or third sector and in all sizes of organisation, specific responsibilities and job titles will vary, but the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed will be the same. Key responsibilities may include creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, managing change, financial and resource management, talent management, coaching and mentoring. Roles may include: Operations Manager, Regional Manager, Divisional Manager, Department Manager and Specialist Manager.

With the University Ambleside campus less than 10 miles away, right in the heart of the Lake District. It is the ideal place to further your hospitality ambitions whilst working and living in this amazing environment.
If you work for us you have access to apply for an degree apprenticeship and assist the operations managers in running all aspects of our multi-site operation including accommodation, food & drink experiences, and to learn whilst you earn.
