Kitchen Porters are the engine room of our operation at The Lake View Garden Bar. Without you, service doesn't happen. You'll keep the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly — and you'll also be responsible for glassware washing to keep the front-of-house team supplied across our busy terraces and indoor areas.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Maintaining cleanliness — keeping the kitchen, pot wash area, and all equipment clean, tidy, and service-ready in line with our operational checklists
Glassware washing — ensuring a consistent supply of clean glasses is available for the front-of-house team throughout service
Stock management — receiving and correctly storing incoming deliveries
Deep cleaning — following scheduled deep-cleaning routines for kitchen equipment and surfaces
Team communication — working closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams to keep service flowing
For this role, we are looking for people who are.
No previous experience needed — we hire on attitude and reliability
Availability — ability to work a variety of shifts, including early starts, evenings, and weekends. We do not operate split shifts
Physical stamina — this is a hands-on, fast-paced role, and you'll be on your feet throughout your shift
Communication — a good level of spoken English to communicate effectively with the team

Ideally, you will have:
An interest in hospitality.
Will be looking to learn more kitchen skills.
